Youth 4 Change Network

YMCA Lebanon joined Y4CN, an international network working toward youth inclusion.

Youth 4 Change Network (Y4CN) is an international network of 81 organizations all working in favor of the professional and social inclusion of excluded young adults.

Y4CN has three core missions:

1. Connect: create a network to bring closer organizations working for Youth inclusion so they can benefit from each member’s best practices.

2. Give support: improve the ecosystem of integration of young adults and facilitate their actions on the field by providing services to them.

3. Act together: leading collective action to advocate, find solutions and raise awareness of this Youth exclusion issue.

Being a member of this network, YMCA Lebanon will be in contact with other NGOs working on the inclusion of excluded Youth into society to share best practices and experiences.

Created in 2012, the network gathers today 81 organizations that share:

The social and professional inclusion of young adults

All organizations are willing to join forces, exchange, and work together.

By 2025, 1 billion of young adults will live below the poverty threshold of 1.9$ per day, therefore working for the inclusion of those young adults is a crucial stake for our societies.

In view of this critical issue, organizations encounter important barriers in the field as they are often isolated and have limited resources. These organizations need to double their efforts in order to help efficiently the young adults. So, by sharing their experiences, the members will be pooling different practices and uniting different knowledge to act together for the cause of Young Adults who are currently excluded and achieve the goal where young adults get the keys to hold their place in a more decent world and to become the entrepreneurs of greater freedom in the world.
