International Management and Training Institute (IMTI)

The International Management and Training Institute (IMTI) was established in 1988 as a division of the YMCA to serve the organizational development and management needs of both the public and private sectors in Lebanon and the Middle East.
IMTI offers both consulting and training services.  Its mission is to effectively contribute toward the organization and management development of both governmental and non-governmental organizations.  It also offers its clients an environment to engage in important discussions on civic issues as they pertain to Lebanon, and the Middle East as a whole.  Additionally, it functions as an intermediary, providing the expertise needed to create valuable links between citizens, businesses, NGOs, and governments.
The IMTI consulting and training team includes more than fifty professional consultants and trainers.  Many of the IMTI experts come to the table as both seasoned practitioners and academics combined.  In addition to their industry-specific backgrounds, they have added knowledge on the specific challenges facing Lebanon and the region in general. 

Consulting Services

Our role as consultants is to identify the challenges facing our clients, recommend modifications and assist in the implementation of those changes.  IMTI services include the following:

• Analysis of cross-functional communications and distribution, organizational structure, reporting, intra-communication channels and corporate and organizational culture overall.
• Formulation of corporate and organizational strategies and plans and the implementation and follow-through of those strategies with all the checks and balances along the way. 

 

 

 

Training

At IMTI, we pride ourselves in our custom-programs.  They are structured to meet the particular challenges facing individual organizations and sectors.  Our programs offer our clients the training they need to best position their staff and company in the new global economy. 
IMTI is involved in the entire training cycle including the design, packaging and delivery of both standard and customized training modules. The training areas, depending on need, range in scope from marketing, sales, fundraising, financial management, public administration and personnel management to communication and leadership skills, motivation, decision making and time management.
